If you work with youth and agriculture during the summer, it is Pork Quality Assurance season. Youth Pork Quality Assurance training is designed to teach our young people participating in youth swine projects pork food safety and animal well being.
So, one of the most common questions I get this time of year is "Do I have to do Pork Quality Assurance training?" My response from now on is going to be "Why wouldn't you want to do Pork Quality Assurance training?" This is a program that teaches us how to safely handle and market our pork for the consumers which we should all want to do if we are raising pork!

Great comeback. Would love to know more about the content of this program and what all it covers. Is it related to 4-H or FFA?
